    Holiday Escapes & Day Trips have all inclusions itemised in each individual itinerary.

    Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D) as indicated for each tour.

    Our holiday escapes can be anything from 2 days at Mt Tamborine; 3 days in Toowoomba; 4 days on Fraser Island; 5 days supporting rural communities on the Western Darling Downs; 8 days on Norfolk Island; 9 days exploring Darwin, Kakadu, Katherine and the Top End; or 10 days in Tasmania.

    Holiday Escapes - Due to our Workplace Health and Safety standards, we restrict baggage to 20kg per person – regardless of flight allowances. You may also bring one small soft carry-on bag that can be stowed in the overhead compartment.

    Day Trips - 1 Small day bag, handbag is permitted

    Travel insurance is not included in your holiday escape package and we strongly advise that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy through an independent travel insurance provider.

    Generally, you will receive your documents 2 weeks prior to departure.

    This will depend on not only your personal preference, but the destinations we are visiting and the time of year we will be travelling. We advise you to bring at least one ‘smart’ outfit for special evenings, but that certainly doesn’t mean a formal dress or tie. We do recommend bringing items that are casual and lightweight, preferably requiring no ironing. You’re meant to be having an enjoyable holiday escape, right? Remember to bring shoes to match your ‘smart’ outfit.

    Being Away From Home:

    Arrange for the care of any pets;
    Cancel newspaper and other deliveries to your home;
    Unplug all electrical appliances and remove all perishable goods;
    Leave a key with a neighbour, friend or relative so they can keep an eye on the house, water the plants and collect your mail;
    You might even consider notifying your local police station of your impending absence and let them know who has the spare key.
    Flying:

    Label your case with the first destination and include your home address on your luggage tag;
    Ensure you carry all your travel documentation in your hand luggage;
    Also in your hand luggage, include medications, toiletries and reading material;
    Flights can be more enjoyable when wearing loose clothing and comfortable shoes;
    Eat sensibly and drink plenty of water, rather than alcohol;
    Shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and body lotions are all available in travel sizes at your local pharmacy. Not only will they save weight but, if they are each under 100ml, you’ll be allowed to carry them in your hand luggage;
    Hand Sanitiser:

    Became a staple during the global COVID-19 pandemic and is a good idea to keep it a habit, especially when traveling;
    When visiting tourist attractions, we tend to touch lots of things that lots of other people have also just touched;
    Reduce the risk of catching bugs with the regular use of hand sanitiser.
    Pick-Pockets:

    Don’t let pickpockets spoil your holiday – Keep valuables under cover. When you travel you must protect your passport and cash.
    Pickpockets:

    Are more common and skilled than you might think;
    Minimise your risk by wearing a money belt that goes under your clothes.
    Missing Luggage:

    When traveling as a couple, split belongings between two cases so if one case goes astray neither person is left without a change of clothes;
    Also, when traveling as a couple, have an ATM and/or credit card each so if one person loses their wallet or purse, you still have spending ability.
    Drinking Water:

    We highly recommended you always carry your water bottle with you, particularly in the warmer climates;
    We generally have our esky filled with water bottles, so please ask us for one if yours is empty.
    Protect and Keep Australia Beautiful:

    Let’s respect our beautiful country and help us protect the countryside;
    We encourage you to use the rubbish bin provided.
